Gettin back to Basics

Some people find card making and scrapbooking so overwhelming, so I wanted to create a card that literarily took me less than 30 minutes to make and anyone can put together for a quick and easy but lovely Birthday Card.

This card was made just using white cardstock, the Perennial stamp set, ink and the Glitter Enamel Dots, added to ad a pop of colour and dimension.

I have a showcase below of what I used

Garden Impressions

Who doesn’t like receiving a beautiful Thank You card in the mail, knowing they are loved and appreciated?

These beautiful and super quick and easy Thank You cards made with with the Garden Impressions Designer Papers can be made in minutes ready to have on hand to send to those special people in your life.

I have made up a quick tutorial for you all 💕

Step 1. Using Whisper White A4 card stock, cut in half then folded in half to make up the base of the card. (I used two sheets to make up 4 cards)

Step 2. Choose a Card Stock, I used 1 A4 piece of Calypso Coral and cut 4 pieces into 14cm x 9.5 cm

Step 3. Choose your design papers, these are the ones I choose from the Garden Impressions range, cut 4 down to 13cm x 8.5 cm (don’t throw out your scraps 😉)

Step 4. Cut 4 6.5cm circles using the Layering Circles Framelets

Step 5.  Add Dimensionallys on the back of your card stock, and place onto the folded card, then using the Designer paper add double sided tape and place on top of the card stock.

Step 6. Grab you cut circles and using the Abstract Impressions stamps, use the brush stroke one and add to the center of each circle in a coloured ink, I used Melon Mambos, I did a few using a different amount of pressure to get a different effect and shade, wait a couple of minutes to let it dry and grab the “Thank You” and using Tuxedo Black stamp over the brush stroke.

Step 7.  Now grab those scraps of Designer paper and cut 8.5cm x 2 cm strip and cut out a triangle off each end to give it a ribbon effect and stick to the back of the Thank You tags. And then add dimensionals to the back of the Thank You tag.

Step 8. Your now ready to place the tag to your card 😀, you can decorate as you please, I added a couple of the Glitter Dot Enamels and some Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon

And now you are ready to post off 💕

Thank you for stopping by and please feel free to leave a comment
